X (which is French for fight) was a French newspaper which gained popularity during the Second World War. Originally a clandestine newspaper, one of its mission was to support the Resistance. It was headed and edited by a number of popular figures, most famously Y who took over its editorship in 1943. It was while at this newspaper that Y came in contact of Jean Paul Sartre. It is believed that the two writers contributed greatly to each others literary works. However, they had a fallout after Y published Z in 1951. Identify X, Y and Z.
