YAHWEHS TRUTH TO START YOUR DAY! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Sunday - October 12, 2014 - 1st Day of the Week! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * YAHWEHS WISDOM IN A VERSE! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The Restoration Study Bible Translation of Todays Verses: * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The New Testament (The Story of Yahshua Messiah - A.D. 1) Todays Verses - (Hebrews 2:11-18) Yahshua Humbled as a Man: (2:11). For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: (of Messiah) for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren. (refers to the fact that Yahshua became one of us, but only in the sense of humanity, not in the sense of sin). NOTE:(sanctifieth - [Greek - hageeadzo] - to make holy, i.e., to purify or consecrate). (12). Saying I WILL DECLARE THY NAME UNTO MY BRETHREN, IN THE MIDST OF THE ASSEMBLY WILL I SING PRAISE UNTO THEE. [cf. Ps. 22:22] (Messiah will praise Yahweh because of this Great Victory, which has brought many sons and daughters into the Kingdom). NOTE:(*declare thy name* - Yahshua announced His Fathers Name [Yahweh] to His brethren. Yahwehs Name was known to those of the Old and New Testaments.) (13). And again, I WILL PUT MY TRUST IN HIM. And again, BEHOLD I AND THE CHILDREN WHICH ELOHIM HATH GIVEN ME. [cf. Isa. 8:17-18] (The Completed Works of Messiah at the Cross makes it possible for us to become a Child of Elohim). (14). Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, (refers to the fact that this Creation has a human, not angelic, nature), he also himself likewise took part of the same; (the incarnation, God becoming man); that through death, (at the Cross), he might destroy him, (Satan), that had the power of death, that is the devil; [cf. Ezek. 28:17] (the wages of sin is death, which speaks of separation from Yahweh; Messiah Yahshua atoned for all sin at the Cross, thereby removing the cause of spiritual death, at least for all who believe, [John 3:16] and obey [1 John 5:3]). NOTE:(devil - [Greek - deeabolos] - Satan the prince of demons, the author of evil.) (* that through death he might destroy him* - Yahshua through His death overcame the penalty of sin and by doing so brought justification and salvation to those who were previously under the power of the devil through the bondage of sin [cf. Rom. 6:16]). (15). And deliver them, (speaks of mankind held in captivity by Satan), who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. NOTE:(It has been said that the two terrors from which none but Christ can deliver men are guilt of sin, and fear of death. The latter is the offspring of the former). (16). For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; (Messiah did not come to be the Savior of fallen angels; they are another creation); but he took on him the seed of Abraham. NOTE:(This refers to His Humanity, which He became and was the manner in which Redemption would be brought about.) (17). Wherefore in all things it behooved him to be made like unto his brethren, (refers to our Master laying hold of the human race for the purpose of saving those who would accept Salvation & its terms), that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to Elohim, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. (Yahshua is our High Priest, and as such is our representative before Yahweh, our Elohim). NOTE:(make reconciliation for - [Greek - hilaskomahee] - to atone for.) (18). For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, (in His incarnation as the last Adam, our Master Yahshua was put to the test, and was also solicited to do evil [Matt. 4:1-11]), he is able to succour them that are tempted. NOTE:(*able to succour them* - By having become human, Yahshua is able to help mankind when tested, having overcome the same Himself.) So sayeth the Word of Yahweh, our Elohim. HalleluYah!
