YES! I agree so much with this post. I can not stand being kept waiting or tardiness. Living out here in the sticks when I was working I still managed (with a 45 minute drive) to make it on time every time to work.. Only once did I think I was going to be late because of a flat tire (and I was still 3 minutes early!). It is that important to me. Just like some others have expressed.. I too get anxiety over the thoughts of being late for any appointment/meeting etc. When plans are made for say 7 to me that means show up 10-15 mins early, NOT 30 minutes late. I am understanding when it comes to last minute emergencies ( I do have pets, and a child, and a mom) Calling me well before the agreed upon time and either rescheduling or letting me know hey something just happened.. and I am ok. But wasting my time (which is very precious to me since I have a million other things I could/should be doing) is not okay. And the people that have to race 90mph down the road to get wherever they are going on time irritate me just as much. You know when you need to be somewhere, you know how long it takes you to get prepared for your day.. do the friggin math and set your alarm clock accordingly. We all wanted some extra sleep, but some of us understand what responsibility is, and how to manage our time.. those of us that can hope the rest of the world can one day get on board!
