(YOU ARE CALLED TO OBTAIN AN EXCEEDING GLORY). . . ...Whereunto He called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Jesus Christ (2Thess.2:14). . . My beloved friends, before we continue the series were running, I felt its important we get acquainted with where we are going, bcos. understanding this will empower you for exploits. . I also know that some people sees what we are studying as a mere theological abstraction, so it becomes difficult for them to follow suit, but not atall, we are into the real game, a spiritual dealings, which is more real than physical things we see. (2Cor.4:18). . I like to let you know, the reason the devil may not just allow you have it easily is because when you do, you will reign over him for ever: . But as you follow these divine instructions you read from the scriptures, with a deliberate application, you will get the devil fallen flat before you in Jesus name. . The instructions may look so foolish, but thats the wisdom, & power of God; talking about the wisdom of God which is foolishness to the world, Apostle Paul described it as an incomprehesible mystery to the devil, bcos if he had understood it, he wouldnt have crucified the Lord of glory. (1Cor.2:1-8). . So when we talk of divine instructions, its of the Holy Spirit and not from the human sense or mind. For egs. Joshua the man of God received divine instruction from the Holy Spirit who is the commander in chief of the Heavenly hosts and applied it, and had an indelible result, (Josh.5:13-15, 6:1-27), And the wall of Jericho was flattened. And I stand to declare upon all my followers today, as you hid to these instructions, the way Jericho wall fell down flat, so shall every obstacle before you fall down flat in Jesus name. . Remember am talking about obtaining the glory of Jesus Christ, thats why the devil wont just fold his hands and watch you have it at the bed of roses. . Its an exceeding glory that supercedes every other glories in the world, and when you get your heart focused on it. It delivers into your hand every other desired glory you may need in the world. (Matth.6:32-33). . Friends, God knows you need those things but dont fix your heart on them, let it not be your purpose for serving God, gaurd against idolatery (1Cor.15:19) (1Tim.6:6-10). . What do I mean by exceeding glory?. Its the glory in which Jesus Christ is in now; its so glorious that Apostle John the beloved who used to lean on his bosom saw it and fainted. . Lets see the description of the present glory of Jesus Christ; pls. read. (Rev.1:9-17), I like you to get this rightly because it will enable you overcome every temptation the devil may bring across your ways in the world. . Friends, do you know that this is what God have called you to obtain? (2Thess.2:13-14) and Jesus prayed us into it to the Father. (John 17:9-24). ...But remember, there is a condition to every promises of God in the Bible. And here is the condition to this glory. (1John 3:1-3). Verse 3 says, And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself even as He is pure. So lets fix our heart on Him.(Heb.12:2). God bless you.
