YOUTH UNITES, REJECTS PARTY POLITICS I say comrades a large group of between 220 and 250 Namibian youth and other interested Namibian citizens gathered at Katutura Community Hall last night to listen to Cdes Job Amupanda and Jade Lennon McClune. After hearing that Cde Job Amupanda is not present, a group of close to 50 people suddenly left the hall apparently because they were against the participation in the debate by youth from opposition parties. Nonetheless, the walkout back fired as the remainder of the group called for unity of all people, regardless of political party, who really are concerned about LAND and HOUSING crisis in Namibia! Speakers after speakers condemned the housing crisis in and called for unity of purpose, regardless of political affiliation. Speakers after speakers, regardless of political affiliation, also paid tribute to radical youther, Cde Job Amupanda , whom all those who spoke regarded as their hero! The crowd became even more agitated when Cde Dhimbulukweni Nauyoma suddenly appeared and explained that Cde Job Amupanda could not come because he was not invited to the debate. However, debate organizer and radical youther, Cde Jade McClune, explained that he had received a call from Cde Job Amupanda who said that he could not come because he has been suspended from Swapo Party. Whatever might have been the real reason for Cde Jobs no show, the crowd welcomed the remarks by Cde Nauyoma or Nuuyoma who invited everyone present and who is interested to fill in forms to apply for land with the feudalist Shity of Windhoek! Cde Nuuyoma is one of original youth activists who together with Cde Amupanda occupied a plot in Kleine Kuppe last Sunday. Another meeting on housing rights will take place at offices of Windhoek Municipality at 13h00 TODAY! Please attend if you are interested in the struggle for housing rights and against FEUDALISM!
