YUSUF USMAN SHETTIMA WROTE: What Would Jonathan Tell His Enemies Today Forget about them, it is my enemies killing themselves. This was what President Jonathan told Obasanjo about the insecurity in Borno State. Obasanjo also wrote same in his book my watch. And today he is coming but to do what or to say what? To commission projects? No. To bring back Chibok girls? No. To reclaim Gwoza, Bama, Dikwa and other 14 Local Government Area under Boko Haram? No. To reopen our airport? No. To say sorry to the families of those who lost their lives and properties to insurgents? No. Then what is he bringing? Campaign. To make new promises as he did in 2011 but how much of these promises has he fulfilled so far? Yes, to say vote for me and Sambo for more transformation of Nigeria when transformation means death, corruption with impunity, unemployment and poverty. But can we trust his promises again? If his past records shows that he fulfills promised and honor his pledges, we should risk to trust him again.
