Yarmouth will be in the national spotlight September 26 – 28, as we host the CBC Hockey Night in Canada’s Play ON! National Street Hockey Championships. The national 4-on-4 street hockey tournament will culminate with a series of round robin games on Main Street with the championship games of each division taking place on Lobster Rock Wharf, surrounded by a custom designed feature rink, bleachers and CBC broadcast for two hours! This will be one of the largest events Yarmouth has ever seen and we want to make sure everyone knows about it, and anyone interested in getting involved in this great event has the opportunity to do so. Games will be taking place on Main Street, Sept 26 & 27 between 8am and 6pm. September 28, games will be taking place on Main Street from 8am to 12pm and then all final games will take place on Lobster Rock Wharf with additional entertainment between 1pm and 6pm.
