Yay, we will have internet the first day we get to our new house in Orlando!!! I bought the self install kit at Walmart on College Drive yesterday, and paid the $25 deposit over the phone today, so now all I have to do when we arrive is plug the modem into the phone jack and activate it over the computer!!! They will turn the service on at the street Tuesday, as we are driving down there!!! So we wont be without internet long; I just hate that the only format we can get is DSL!!! CenturyLink is the only option for Internet & TV on our street, unless you get Dish Network, or DirecTV, of course!!! I wish they had cable internet on our street; I love Cox!!! I have been a Cox subscriber for over 9 years now, and have no problem with their service!!! Oh well, well see how it works I guess!!! Bye Bye Cox!!! I still dont understand why the Walmart on College Drive sells the self install kits; CenturyLink is not offered here in Louisiana; We have AT&T here!!! Cable & Telco companies never overlap each other in a city or town, so I find that a waste of Walmarts money but whatever!!! I got a 3 year price lock too of $59.99 with no contract, and a free phone option!!! So we basically have an active phone line for free!!! Sweet, huh? We are not going to pay for cable or satellite TV as I said before; There are just too many great online options, for pay as well as free!!! centurylink
