Yeah ok, I’m game for The Hunger Games. I didn’t care much for the first 2 Hunger Games movies, but this looks very interesting and exciting . It seems they’re moving away from the games and hopefully moving away from that unnecessary love triangle. Then again it’s Twilight-esq franchise predominantly targeted towards teens and young girls. Maybe I’m wrong on this one but I think girls care more about that love triangle sort of thing. Give me a good story glazed with explosions and the my inner caveman Cineophant is satisfied; otherwise I have to go for a hunt or chop down a tree reconnect with my inner manly man. Girls or no girls the popularity of this franchise gender blind, and the direction it’s moving towards is welcoming. I love dystopian movies specially if they have an element of war in it. I mean who doesn’t love a good overthrowing of a future oppressive totalitarian regime.
