Yeah they nibble to explore. But it gets really bad if you feed them out of your hand. Theyre always nibbling at you after that. But, when you keep your horse in an open pasture, and you have to go out and catch it before you ride it all over the place, they catch on really fast and youre chasing it all over acres of open country. If they know you will begin your encounter with a handful of something delicious, it makes life easier for everybody.
