Yes, NYC is increasingly becoming a place where the offspring of the upper middle-class come to spawn in a cupcake and ramen-fueled mating dance and where the wealthy of every rank have pied-à-terres, but also a temporary destination for tourists. To that end, nightlife and club life will always provide a haven for artistic malcontents.
