Yes, by all means, ship them back and forget they exist. Pretend to do it because you care about our own starving children... while doing nothing for them, either. Remember one thing: children are our future - no matter what country, what race, or what culture they come from. These children being returned to starvation, to rape, torture, and murder. You can see them as Central Americans or Mexicans or whatever or you can see them as HUMAN BEINGS. We can save these children, or we can send them back to either become victims and the next generation of the oppressed or, worse yet, the oppressors. We can give them a future, a hope for tomorrow, and we can be the great country who saved them *or* we can be the selfish, self-absorbed country who returned them to a death sentence because we were too worried about having to give up our daily Starbucks order... If you are going to return them, dont pretend it is to do anything good for this country - these children, given hope, an education, and a good life, could be part of our countrys greatest resource - children ARE our greatest resource and our best hope for a better tomorrow, no matter what the color of their skin is, nor their country of origin, nor their culture.
