Yes ...so much fun .. cousins coming over ,there was so many of us we had a boys club and girls club , we sang songs on the back of an old truck and passerbyers would stop and listen , if I have to say so we were pretty good too ,played in the barn , got stung by wasp nearly every day , played in creek , fished with a safety pin on a string , made dams so the creek water would get deeper ,made mud pies , played Bill and Bob with small cars and trucks , hoed cotton, picked cotton, got put in sack and weight just like the amount of cotton you picked Lol. Thinned peaches, picked peaches ,then worked in peach shed at night .So we could help pay for school books and shoes and clothes for the new school year . ( now days children are not allowed to work or do anything unless they are a certain age . It is really sad because they are missing out on so much hands on experience which everyone needs .) Picked blackberries with long sleeves and pants , and always took saltine crackers with peanut butter ,with cool-aid to drink to take a break when we got hot and tired . God we were so blessed . Thank you Jesus for such wonderful parents . Please Jesus help our children to survive in todays world . So many know nothing of working with there parents to help ends meet. And we loved doing it . I cant remember any of us complaining. Will they survive if things got so bad they had no money to buy things ? I think they would panic . Jesus please help our world today ...Amen. And thank you Jesus for all you do for us good times , and bad times .
