Yes, youre not seeing things! Im actually on Facebook and posting. I want to thank everyone for their words of encouragement, emails, calls, prayers and financial support for my debut St. Jude 5k this Saturday! Provided its not cancelled due to the weather! I never dreamed Id be only $360 away from reaching my goal! Many of you know this is personal to me. My main reason for running is for a 5 year old Josiah. He was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer at 6 months old. He underwent surgery and chemo shortly after his diagnosis. His cancer been stable for several years. Recently his seizure activity has increased. Testing to discover the under lying cause is new tumor growth. Hes scheduled for chemo later and surgery Dec. 18th. Hes quite a fighter! So, if we race Sat and you see someone dressed in orange (Go VOLS) with a sock monkey hat...that will be me! See you at the finish line!
