Yesterday I found out I got nominated for a Pride of Australia medal. This is very humbling, and a little embarrassing as I do not take compliments very well, and Sarah knows this, which is why she is in trouble lol! I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to my very big hearted friend Sarah Gilbert who has an absolute heart of gold. It is under the community spirit award in recognition of help during the Eden Valley bush fires, which as you all know was a very harrowing time for everyone involved. I was a tiny piece of the community involvement with the bush fires that affected so many of us in the area. There are many many unspoken souls who assisted in any which way they could. If I had my way, I would nominate every singe person involved.. especially the firefighters. So thank you Sarah, I am very humbled to be nominated, and I am also extremely grateful to live in a community who bands together in times of need. For us and the affected the farmers, there is still more work to be done to get things back to how they were, but were still very grateful for all your support
