Yesterday I got a whitewashed view of what the Huey Helicopters did during the Vietnam War. Yes they went into the country side and rescued the American soldiers and did other humane things, however the video never showed the helicopters strafing villages in the county side with killing machines like Gatling guns and other on board killing machines. First of all the Vietnam war should have never been allowed to happen in the first place. The Secretary of Defense, McNamara admitted years ago that the war should have never been allowed to happen in the first place. One of the most decorated soldiers of all times, Col. David Hackworth after deep thought admitted in his book that the Vietnam War was the wrong war and a bad war that should have never happened. In the link below, David tells why the Vietnam war was a bad and wrong war. I knew in the sixties that the war was a bad war and refused to get drafted to lose my life in that stupid war.
