Yesterday, I saw what surprised me and it was so irritating and an eye saw. I laughed and said to myself, whatz devil trying to do? To weigh me down or what? I stood up and said to devil, you didn’t make me to see this but God does. The scripture said, those that know their God shall be strong and do exploit. There are some challenges that will come, you refuse to give ears to devil, because there is no good thing that he would suggest to you, he is so deceitful. Some women comes to me for counseling, after talking to them, they would tell me, anti you endure because you know God. What can we do without God? If you really want to remain in marriage and have peace, you must know God. I start talking to them by using myself as a practical example, I saw hell in Marriage but I understood that it wasn’t ordinary. God was actually building me up for something, something that will bring glory to his name. They humiliated me but God said, I myself called you by your name, I am with you. They tried to disgrace me, God said, those that put their trust in me can never be disgraced. They abandoned me, God said, your father and mother may abandon you, but I, the I AM THAT I AM will never abandon you. They tried to kill me, God said, the day my son Jesus died was the day you died, when he was buried, you were buried with him, when he resurrected, you resurrected with him, as he lives, you will live. They fabricated stories against me, God said, I am still the same God of yesterday, today and forever. I am still on the throne. My fellow women, Keep praying for your husbands and not trying to change them by nagging, you can’t change them but the power of God will. Saul was against the followers of Jesus, but on his way to Damascus God changed him from Saul to Paul and he remained in him till the day he died. God could do the same to your marriage if you believe and close your eyes to some certain issues you know would bring problems. My ten years in marriage had really thought me the good and bad side of life and all to the glory of God. If God had not allowed me go through them, I wouldn’t have known what to tell people that comes to me for counseling. No marriage is as sweet as honey, every marriage has challenges, what matters is how you handle it when challenges arise. Keep studying the word and don’t relent, it will do you a lot of good and as well make you have everlasting peace in marriage. Remain blessed.
