Yesterday, I thought I was going to have to go to the Apple store and have my iPhone battery replaced, because my phone died while it was plugged into my car charger on our drive to the Cape. When we arrived, I used my 120 V charger with a wall outlet, and it also failed to charge my phone. I then found out that the wall outlet was controlled with a switch, and when I moved my phone to a different outlet, it charged. I then found that my car charger does not stay plugged into my phone. I had never had the battery go dead before because this is the first long trip that I took with the bad car charger.
