Yesterday, I took my girls to school, I didnt really want too, because I knew what day it was, I didnt want the girls to take notice and I didnt want to be reminded. You see, it was Daddy and donuts day :( Has I walked through the school, you saw ALL these dads, holding their childs hand, with their child having the most beautiful smile on their face, has I took care of my girls, and proceeded to leave the school, there was an array of lines of dad, waiting to sign in, I thought that was soooo awesome, then I thought to MYself, I couldnt be thee ONLY person feeling this way. I got in the truck, I couldnt hold it NO more, the lump in my throat from trying to hold back the tears, so many thoughts came through my head, but I had a positive one, I have someone dear to ME, in Brooklyn who I know is an amazing father to his son, and Im proud of him for being so, even if MY own children DONT.
