Yesterday I was the recipient of a RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS and a Christmas Good Deed. I was in Jackson for the funeral of a friend. Had to get back to McComb to tend to a couple of important family matters. As I was driving along I-20 toward the I-55 South exit, I had flat tire. After a hike across several lanes of interstate and frontage road to a nearby truckstop, I bought some fix-a-flat and was able to get to a coin operated air pump. The tire inflated fully, but was losing air fast from a large nail hole. I made the short drive over to Anglin Tire just off I-20 near South Gallatin and South State. By that time, I was feeling more than a bit down. I guess the guy at the tire store could tell. They fixed my flat in 20 minutes, said no charge, and wished me a Merry Christmas.
