Yesterday, I went back to umc. The infection in my abdomen is gone, so they removed the drain. I followed up with the hematologist afterwards. He labeled me as special and asked for permission to do a case study on me. This study means that hes treating me, not my diagnosis, which is a huge step. This study with hopefully help others like me who dont fit the typical diagnosis, and most importantly possibly help my son. Im excited to be moving forward with my treatment and to help with the research, so others wont have to go through what I have. I follow up in 2 weeks for further evaluation.
