Yesterday I wrote here about the poor media fraternity in Kenya, that is visionless, always in bed with the government and Most Importantly they lack journalistic research skills. Just one day after posting my views here... the Nation Media Groud a media power house has just done the un-thinkable. On their front page cover, they had a photo of two lamps suckling a cow a from Chepkeche Village in Uasin Gishu. Apparently this didnt happen here in Kenya. On the website of the MIRROR ( bit.ly/10qz2X9 ) this picture is from a story titled From surrogate dogs to adopted pigs, 26 animals that looked out for each other. And this Pic is amongst the 26 with a caption of Little Brown, a Jersey cow, nurses two newborn lambs in New Zealand Kenyas leading blogger Robert Alai, then decided to expose them providing a link where they got the photo from bit.ly/10qz2X9. After this exposure, they have immediately changed their online version of the newspaper. Here...
