Yesterday Nacho was able to go to our sons baseball games for the first time. Our President game him a Giants team hat to wear representing our sons teams. He was pretty alert and emotional at Elijahs game. Elijahs coaches from last year came and old teammate friends. When Nacho heard their voices he had tears coming down his face. It was great to have some of our family there too. We sat right near the back stop. Elijah pitched the whole game that only went 4 innings. Nacho watched him. When he batted we cheered and Nacho was bawling. When he returned home he was bawling also. At one point he was concentrating hard and lifting his head from his chair and raising his arms. It was something. We were just watching him. I know he was dying say something. I told him to yell if he wants to. It was so great to have him there with us. To get him to Josiahs game my brother-in-law pushed his chair across the grass. (Pretty far) He watched Jojos game too. He seemed pretty tired but was still watching Jojo at short stop doing his thing. My baby was playing his heart out too, going into extra innings. We managed to get him to take a family pic between innings before Nacho was leaving. Its always the saddest part of his visits. It was so good for him to be at the games. Im thankful for these special times together. Hell be back in no time. Cant wait!! God always gives him something to keep him fighting and us too.
