Yesterday at mass, the priest I thought had a great idea on how we can end the government somewhat of a shutdown. He noted that when a new Pope is being elected, the Cardinals all go to Rome and are locked up in the Vatican until they can come up with some sort of agreement on who will be the next Pope. He said we should lock up all of our politicians in one room until they can settle their differences. I thought about this for a day or so and thought, that may not be a bad idea. It would be interesting to see the back eyes and bruises they all leave one another or if they are all ideologically unable to work with anyone!
