Yesterday at the ASG Senior Campus an assembly was held to reward our students for their continued efforts in a variety of fields. The awards received today included: Year 7 Gold Award recipients and Silver and Bronze Awards (Awarded by Ms Baillie); our Da Vinci Decathlon team and students who attended the Gifted and Talented Philosophy workshop (Both organised by Ms Paxinos) and a special Design and Technology Merit Award to Tony Kallegoros of Yr 9 (awarded by Mr St Clair). Mr Varvaressos gave us a special discourse on the Theotokos and her powers of mercy and our Year 11 students Ms Mavridis and Ms Apsostolou spoke eloquently about why we should support Jeans for Genes Day. Ms Hanna and Ms Singles spoke about our fast approaching Creative Arts and Technology Night, which this year will be held at the Junior Campus on Thursday the 18th of September. Ms Bale our Curriculum Coordinator and Careers adviser discussed the importance of attending University open Days to inform subject selection and finally Mr Stamp let us know about our fabulous and unbeatable Senior Girls Soccer Team! Today’s assembly was a testament to the broad range of activities our students are exposed to and continue to excel in.
