Yesterday in Jackson Hole was the last day of our trip together. We wanted to make an attempt at the Middle Teton, but we got a really late start and had a bit of a learning curve on our new toys. So instead, we climbed nearly to the top of a shorter peak just in front of the Tetons with the purpose of skiing and boarding down. Wes had a split board and we used skins to climb the hill on our skis. It was the first time either of us had used AT skis and the first time I had ever skied in deep powder. It was amazing! We descended a little too far to the left though and since Wes skins kept falling off of his skis, we ended up breaking trail through hip deep powder at the bottom of a ravine in the dark to get out. No worries though, we have had a little bit of experience in that sort of thing. Highlight of the day: I just want like 6 Baconators, is that too much to ask? GoPro Hero 4 Silver baby!
