Yesterday morning Diana told me that the Blues selected with their first draft choice this year a defenseman. He was the 47th pick overall. Think about it. The blues already have the best overall defensive unit. Their scoring punch is lacking. Yet they pick a defenseman. ????? I could understand if they had one of the first few picks and there was a defenseman like Seth Jones available. He is NHL ready and could be a superstar. Can someone help me make sense of this? I hope Doug Armstrong has a plan other than telling the fans we have a better team than we did 2 years ago like he did after the Blues were eliminated again. Long time fans are tired of hearing wait until next year. Do something now! WE are tired of losing the close games. Chicago wins the close games because they have incredible offensive talent. I am tired of going to games against Chicago and sitting next to their fans like it is their building. Get some scoring punch now! Not next year. Now!!!
