Yesterday was Brigitte Head test number 2 - this time making a cast using Dragonskin Silicone . FAIL ! The back of her head did not fill due I suppose to a combination of viscosity of the material and gravity pour in place of injection . Ill be pursuing a solution , since overall I REALLY like the possibilities offered by the Dragonskin Silicone . The cast , where it filled was good quality , no trapped air pockets and the channels for the ears worked - the Dragonskin offers me the ability to plug in hair for individualized rooting patterns - i.e. no wigs ! Sadly , the mold release was only partially successful and the mold was destroyed in the process of removal . Will have to generate a second . Live and learn . Despite the unsuccessful experiment with silicone Im still very excited at the possibilities ahead ( get it a-head ? ;) groan . Its just very pleasing to actually have forward momentum on these projects that have been sitting on the backburner for two years and learning new things .
