Yesterday was a really pleasant day. We had company for dinner. My nephew Dean and his wife Sarah joined us for a good old fashioned turkey dinner with all the fix-ins. A perfect meal to have on a chilly day after watching the exciting unpredictable Buffalo Bills game. Im glad they won but they suck. 4 fumbles, 2 lost running backs and no ground game. Its just a good thing they played the Vikings or they would be chalking up another L! I love the aroma of a cooking turkey. It just has the natural ability to warm the cockles of your heart and it didnt disappoint. Everything came out spot on and we all enjoyed filling our bellies and chatting about nothing special. It was a good time. Thanks Dean and Sarah for spending time with us and solving the worlds problems! Looks like were going to have a pretty chilly week ahead. Im hoping it wont be too windy. Id like to get out and do some fall fishing at Canandaigua and Seneca Lakes. The hillsides are awesome with fall colors and the fishing is good too. Wind kills it all so Im hoping for calm days.
