Yesterday was great fun. We found some great shops in downtown Manitou, purchased a painting we both fell in love with to celebrate the day, ate at a cute Mediterranean restaurant (I even ate lamb), baklava to die for, went to several of the mineral springs, shopped for clothes, climbed (yes, he made me climb a mountain) in Garden of the Gods, saw where he grew up, it was just perfect. The resort we stayed at had a nine point deer munching on the bushes when we checked in...he didnt move! A bunny was hopping around on our little back yard patio, the coyotes were singing to us early morning. We sat out at the little table and chairs on the deck this morning and were both in awe. In awe of the beauty of that place and in awe of everything that happened to get us to this point.
