Yesterday was one of the worst days ever and definitely Lukes worst day in his life. After a great visit to Lille Zoo we were walking back to the car with Luke on my shoulders. Luke being his normal cheeky self was mucking about a bit and suddenly flung himself backwards and I lost my grip and he fell backwards off my shoulders landing head first on the road!! We immediately called the emergency services who thankfully arrived in minutes. Marie and Luke were rushed to A&E by the Pompiers and Lily and I had to drive painfully slowly through the rush hour traffic. Luke and Marie spent the night and the first few hours were difficult, however I am very glad to say Luke is back at his aunt Camille house playing happily as though nothing happened yesterday! Thank you Lille A&E.
