Yesterday was the first day for harvest and deliveries for our Glen Innes Patch Free Vegies Partnership. Glen Industries is working with BEST Employment Glen Innes and Tree Tenders Nursery & The BEST Food Garden in Inverell to grow seasonal vegies that are then picked and delivered by Glen Industries to 31 aged residents in Glen Innes. The happy recipients, some elders as well as residents of Karinya, were most appreciative. Their bag included cucumbers, zucchinis, tomatoes, corn and onions. This will be a weekly delivery.
