Yesterday we posted an article about how the state of Utah expects to COMPLETELY ELIMINATE chronic homelessness by the end of this year. Were talking about a very conservative state that has determined that they actually save money by providing free housing. The implications of this program are enormous. This program has already resulted in a 74% decrease in state-wide chronic homelessness! Unfortunately, very few people seem to be paying any attention to this story. This program is making all past attempts to solve the homeless problem look like a waste of time and money (at least from the information that I have been able to uncover). For that reason, I sincerely implore all who truly wish to see the end of chronic homelessness, look at this story and pass it around so we can get the conversation started.
