Yesterday when I picked up my Little Man, I saw one of his young co-workers sitting at the bus stop as always. Just 19 and he rides the bus to and from work everyday. Takes him about an hour. I asked my Little Man if he wanted to give him a ride and when we pulled up and asked he had said no thanks because he lived so far. I told him to jump in. This morning as we drove up, he sat parked in his first car. Little Man just called and said that he wanted to give him a ride home today on his last day of work, which is way out of his way. For some reason, the gesture and gratitude coming from such a hard working young man touched my heart. There is hope for our future. ♡
