Yesterday, while driving, a young fledgling was in the road and its mother flew down to persuade it to move out of the way, putting herself in harms way. One honk of my horn scared the little bird and they both flew out of the way. Please honk for wildlife even if you have to stop. If we only stop, we are conditioning them with the notion that all cars will stop. Its important to teach them to fear cars so honk away and scare the heck out of them. Its for their own good.
