You all had a week off last week, so back to it this week, and back on the pier for some tough intervals. Again this is all about going hard for different lengths of time and getting your body used to carrying on for ever greater distances, and using a 1:1 work:rest ratio with the correct intensity forces your body to deal with high levels of lactate, allowing you to become better at getting oxygen in to deal with this. Good to see everyone really push it tonight. Welcome to running club Mel and Ali, some familiar faces there too, but I want to see more new faces - running fitness is a severe gap in our training due to issues with our current venue, so please come along and give it a go, whether you hate running or not (especially if you hate running). I am now slightly deaf and my ears are ringing due to that bloody whistle - I bet the people sitting in the Radisson and Tiffin werent amused either. Grands Vaux residents would love that at 6 in the morning ;-)
