You are invited to Give One Dream holiday party on December 9th! :D As I was writing the invitation, I thought about my childhood memories of Christmas. One of my most vivid memories of holiday season is closely tied to my mom’s Christmas tree. My mom has been making Christmas trees every single year. I have baby pictures in front of her Christmas tree that shows how I grew up every year (you can see them if you open the invitation link). When my sister and I got older and could help out with making the tree, it was our family tradition to make the tree together every year on December 1st, which is my mom’s birthday. After I went away for college, I could no longer be home to make Christmas tree together, but my mom always made sure there was a beautiful tree waiting for me when I came home for Christmas. As we get older, I think it’s easy to forget how excited we were about Christmas and how special the day was, just like how we forget about our childhood dreams. I invite you to Give One Dream holiday party to celebrate the spirit of Christmas in fun and new ways. This has been a very special year for Give One Dream— we just launched this year, and thanks to all of your support and encouragement, our community has been growing, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude. We hope to give you time to reflect on the past year, create and share memories with friends, look forward to the next year, and most importantly have fun!
