"You are not “obsessed” if you: Actively read ingredient lists to INFORM yourself of potentially disease promoting non-foods like vegetable oils, artificial sweeteners, preservatives, additives, soy, wheat, and/or anything you know is not ideal for a healthy body You are not “extreme” because you: EDUCATE yourself on potentially inflammatory foods that can inhibit your metabolism, accelerate aging, and increase your chances of disease and obesity You are not “weird” since you: CHOOSE to go to local farmers markets, eat grass-fed organ meats, drink raw milk, make your own mayonnaise, bring your own food or drinks to parties, eat something at home before going to a social event, take coconut oil on vacations, etc… You are not “crazy” if you: CREATE specific VALUES that align with your current philosophy, based on your intuition, knowledge, feelings, happiness, and health. Values that keep you on a sane, intelligent way of eating that is low stress and sustainable You are committed. You are a walking, talking epitome of health, happiness, and awesomeness. You CARE about your body, health, mind, and environment. You LOVE yourself, your friends/family, life, world, food, and being HEALTHY. P.S. Who cares if someone calls you obsessed, extreme, weird, crazy, etc…just be and know yourself. People will call you out, judge you, project on you, hate on you no matter WHAT you do, say, eat, don’t eat, believe, act like, etc…the greatest joy will come from knowing yourself and being yourself totally." -- The Cafe Wellness
