You don’t need to be an apostle, prophet, pastor or teacher – but you definitely need to be a proclaimer! Because the only Jesus some people may ever see is the Jesus in you. Anytime you tell somebody about Jesus, you’re proclaiming truth. Anytime you are a light in a dark place, you’re preaching. You’re fulfilling the great commission to “go ye” regardless of whether you talk to your friend about God, or you preach from a pulpit. The great commission is a call to ALL believers– not just some. Reach out to those around you. It’s not hard to proclaim truth, if you really believe in that truth. All God is looking for is somebody to share His goodness and love, and proclaim His truth. Why not let Him use you?
