You folks are very knowledgeable about Jacksonville. While I didnt grow up in Jacksonville myself, a lot of my family did. Im one of our family historians and I have an old photo that I could use some help with. This is a photo of my Aunt & Uncle, William Sparks and Jennie Witham Sparks. We know very little to nothing about the photo. We believe it was taken in the 30s in a store of some kind that they either owned or worked in. In the photo, we see cigars for sale and a salt and pepper shaker, so we believe they served food. We think this may have been a tavern. Does it look familiar to anyone? Does it look like a tavern to you, too, or does it look like something else? Thanks for your help!
