You know - I was at the Martket and an older gentleman was a couple of people ahead of me; he had an Microwave sandwich and a can of soup. It was the 3rd week of the month and I KNEW that was his dinner. I also knew he served in the Armed Forces. This is so WRONG!! I thought to myself. So catching the checkers attention, I motioned that I would pay for his Dinner. Do you realize how many Elders we have in OUR community who go thru this EVERY month while we pat ourselves on the back for being a loving, caring community. Yes we are, in times of tragic events - what about the rest of the time? Celebrate because you have a job?? Seriously??!! After high school YOU ARE SUPPOSED to be self sufficient, or did that only apply to my parents generations??? Okay! Okay! Ill stop now because half of you stopped reading already and half of the half unfriended me :) Happy Monday
