You know, I try not to make a fuss over my hearing loss. Clinically its considered profound, and without my hearing aids I truly struggle. Conversations are a trial and most sounds from daily life no longer exist for me. But I know there are many worse disabilities I could have. Most days I dont even feel disabled. But when Im on the phone, and I tell the person on the other end I have hearing issues, please speak a little louder and a little slower, the least the person on the other end could do is make an effort.
