You know Ive been treated pretty crappy by men, and I know not all men are the same, but literally as everyone was counting down at midnight I was fighting for my phone so my controlling boyfriend wouldnt throw it in his huge dark backyard. And as I grabbed it I got pushed down a flight of steps hitting my head several times and breaking my wrist. He then didnt help me of course, instead ran back to watch the ball drop. Yes. Literally. It was like something out of a movie. But I wasnt acting, when he went out in hand cuffs, as I sat sobbing with ice on my wrist while Anna watched, I felt like the worst Mother in the world. Yeah he was insecure, controlling, demeaning, cheated.. Like I didnt have signs right? And while his Mother came and said she had a hard time believing her son had done this, I really wanted to say... Me too. Ladies dont ignore the signs, dont think theyll change and do not think when someone shows you who they are the first time, you shouldnt believe it. This could be you. Happy New Year
