You know, i posted this the other day, but took it down. No more. I dont want to hurt anyones feelings,. but in truth- we do not live in a homogeneous (single culture) country. My parents spoke awful English, and later on learned it a bit more, yet beat me if i did not do well in school, especially English. what makes the USA homogeneous and solid, is a common language . I cannot stress enough how self evident this is, and in fact; many who would dare insist on going to another country not speaking their common language , would be received poorly, and for good reasons .So its not politics, or a vain slanted point of view, but common sense .
