You know, this may become my new favorite FB page. I lived in the Valley from 1969-1977 after my dad took a job at Lockheed and absolutely LOVED it down here. Lots of good memories from here. Playing Little League Baseball at Eastside Elementary, eating at the Der Wienerschitzel on Avenue J, Neil Diamond coming to our 2nd grade class at Rosamond Elementary and performing with just him and his guitar, my first white Christmas in Palmdale in 1973, walking to the Big 9 on Avenue J/90th Street East when we lived on 92nd, and I could just go on but I promise I wont. I still get back to the area as time allows me since I live in WA state right now but some of my best childhood memories are from here. To whoever created this page, a BIG THANK YOU for allowing us to connect here and share/relive the memories we all have from here.
