You know what really grinds my gears? Simple cosplays thrown to the side because they arent deemed impressive due to no armor parts. Now dont get me wrong. Armored cosplays are amazing and I have all the respect for the cosplayers that are able to pull it off but I have seen spot on simple looking cosplays that never get recognition. I find that bullshit and I wished that the cosplay community would stop putting armored cosplays on high pedestals. We should be open to all costumes and we should appreciate the time and effort that each and every cosplayer/craftsman puts into their costumes; no matter how simple the costume looks. Sometimes the simplest costumes are the most difficult to accurately make.
