You now need a police permit to refill gas cylinders in Abuja? How encouraging! I can just imagine queues at the district offices of the Nigerian police. Would actually be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a micro needle than you getting the permit without fuss or being a maga. Soon you will all be requested to register your cylinders with plate numbers. I think it will make more sense to take the cylinders to the station for sighting pre and post purchase so they can check the weight and ensure you have filled the right cylinder, or the police should take over the sale of cooking gas. Anyways,When next you see a uniformed policeman with a beret written Home Safety, do not be appalled or confused, neither should you class it a fraud. It is the new development from crappy policies that are decided at beer palors without informing Goodluck of the badluck it brings. Respect our government and their sense of humour, dont consider it silly, it will empower some persons economically and better the GDP from the police angle. Abasi mbok!!!
