You see, we are not like d many hucksters who preach 4 personal profit. We preach d word of God with sincerity & with Christs authority, knowing that God is watching us. (2 Cor. 2:17). Paul is otherwise saying we are not like those who sell shoddy gospel (i.e.misleading gospel) with d ultimate of making profit 4 themselves. This clearly shows that there were some people in Pauls time that were going about misleading people to extort money from them & bcos those people too were not ready to know d word of God hence they become pawn & prey to them. Today there are many who are really merchandising d gospel. Gospel is not to bring profit to ourselves but to bring profit to God by gathering genuine soul together to worship God. Many who are peddling d gospel today are not really conscious of d fact that God is watching them. Or do they think God who created eyes cannot see again? Let us watchout 4 what we are doing in d ministry & what we are using d gospel to do. BEWARE GOD IS WATCHING.
