You will hear and read in Montana, "Fur trapping is a heavily regulated activity that provides FWP with information on furbearers, and provides many benefits to people and wildlife," and "FWP is responsible for the conservation of this public resource." In Montana, NO $29 trapping license is required to trap foxes, and species referred to as predators and nongame. Anyone can trap and kill as many as they want year round! NO reporting necessary. Is that your idea of heavy regulation? How is this a benefit to people and wildlife? Where does Conservation come in? Photo is from a PA trapper that trapped 13,000 foxes but could just as easily and legally happen here and who cares?
