You would think that after some time as a server you would get used to working on holidays. Believe me, Im trying. Ive accepted that have to be there, I can always come home & eat after. This would be a lot easier if the people who came out on these holidays treated me a little better. After all, Im serving you & your family hot food, slicing your fresh bread, filling your coffee to go with your pie, Im even cleaning up after you when you leave. If you have the audacity to be mean to me (not to mention these people rarely tip 20%) when I could be enjoying my family, then you should have stayed home. Its my job to always smile & do my best to take care of you.. But youre making my job a real pain in the ass. So to anyone celebrating Christmas in a restaurant, BE COURTEOUS.
